See everything we do on our services page, or schedule a free consultation to talk through your situation.

Do you work with clients outside of Florida?

Yes. Jason Brett is a licensed Florida CPA based in Pembroke Pines, and we serve clients across the United States remotely.

Everything is handled with secure file sharing, e-signatures, and virtual meetings, so you can work with us from anywhere in the country. Learn more about Jason.

What happens during the free consultation, and how do I get started?

Getting started takes one step: book a free consultation. It is a short, no-pressure conversation about your tax situation.

During the call we:

  • Ask a few key questions to understand your return or project
  • Identify what is involved and flag anything that needs attention
  • Confirm your exact flat fee before any work begins

You leave knowing the scope and the price, with no obligation. Want to see pricing first? View our fees.

Pricing & Billing

Transparent, flat-fee pricing with no surprises.

How does flat-fee pricing work?

You pay one flat fee based on the complexity of your return, not the hours we spend on it. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices.

We confirm your exact fee before any work begins. Because every situation is unique, your fee reflects the specific factors we uncover during your consultation, and we lock it in up front so you always know your cost. See our fees.

How is my fee determined, and how much will it cost?

Your fee depends on the complexity of your situation, not a clock. We price by the forms and work involved. As a general guide:

  • Individuals: personal (1040) returns, multi-state filings, and international add-ons, priced by complexity
  • Small business: S-Corp (1120S), partnership (1065), and C-Corp (1120) returns
  • International: FBAR, FATCA, and Forms 5471, 8938, 2555, and 3520, priced per form
  • Crypto: published starting ranges based on exchanges, trade volume, and complexity

You get your exact flat fee at your consultation. View our fees or book a free quote.

Do you ever bill hourly or add surprise charges?

No. Every engagement is flat-fee and confirmed in advance.

If something changes the scope of your return, we tell you and re-confirm the fee before continuing. There are no hourly timers and no surprise bills. Schedule a consultation.

Business Tax

Returns, entity setup, and planning for LLCs, S-Corps, and partnerships.

Do you prepare business tax returns for S-Corps, partnerships, and LLCs?

Yes. We prepare:

  • Form 1120S for S-Corporations
  • Form 1065 for partnerships and multi-member LLCs
  • Form 1120 for C-Corporations
  • Schedule C for single-member LLCs and sole proprietors

Flat-fee packages include digital delivery and secure e-signatures, with optional bookkeeping and advisory add-ons. Missed an S-Corp election deadline? We can file a late election using IRS relief procedures when you qualify. See business services.

Do you help with business formation and entity selection?

Yes. We help you choose the right entity and set it up correctly, including:

  • Entity selection (LLC vs. S-Corp vs. C-Corp) and tax strategy
  • EIN registration and S-Corp elections
  • Florida business setup and new business formation
  • Year-round tax planning and cash flow guidance

Explore advisory services or book a consultation.

Can you help me reduce self-employment taxes as an S-Corp?

Yes. S-Corp owners can often lower self-employment tax through reasonable compensation planning and entity optimization.

We review your numbers, set a defensible salary strategy, and plan distributions as part of our advisory work, so the structure actually saves you money rather than creating risk. Learn about S-Corp optimization.

Individual & Multi-State Tax

Personal returns, high-earner situations, and multi-state filing.

Do you prepare personal and individual tax returns?

Yes. We prepare individual (Form 1040) returns, from straightforward filings to complex, high-earner situations involving investments, rental property, and multiple income sources.

Pricing is flat and based on complexity. View individual pricing.

Do you handle multi-state tax returns?

Yes. If you moved during the year, work in more than one state, or earn income across state lines, we prepare multi-state and part-year returns and handle state nonresident withholding.

This is one of the most common issues we solve for remote workers and relocating professionals. See multi-state services.

International Tax

Foreign income, foreign accounts, expats, and catch-up filings.

Do you handle international tax compliance?

Yes. International tax is one of our core specialties, for both individuals and businesses.

We handle foreign income, foreign accounts, foreign entities, and nonresident filings, and we get clients caught up when they have fallen behind. See international services or schedule a consultation.

Which international tax forms do you prepare?

We regularly prepare:

  • FBAR (FinCEN 114) for foreign accounts over $10,000
  • Form 8938 (FATCA) for specified foreign assets
  • Form 5471 for U.S. owners of foreign corporations (all categories 1 through 5)
  • Form 8992 and GILTI calculations
  • Form 3520 for foreign gifts and trusts
  • Form 2555 (foreign earned income exclusion) and Form 1116 (foreign tax credit)
  • Forms 1040 and 1040NR for residents and nonresidents

Talk to us about your filings.

I am a U.S. citizen living abroad. Can you file my taxes?

Yes. We work with U.S. citizens abroad, dual citizens, green card holders, and nonresidents with U.S. income, all remotely.

We coordinate the foreign earned income exclusion, foreign tax credits, and treaty positions so you are not taxed twice on the same income. Book a consultation.

I am behind on FBAR or other foreign filings. Can you help?

Yes, and you are not alone. Late and missed international filings are common, and they are fixable.

We help clients file late FBARs and Forms 5471 and 8938, and we pursue penalty-reduction strategies and IRS relief procedures where you qualify. The sooner you act, the more options you have. Schedule a consultation.

I received an IRS letter or notice. Can you help?

Yes. Send us the notice and we will tell you what it actually means and how to respond.

Can you file back taxes and unfiled returns?

Yes. We regularly help clients file multiple years of unfiled returns to get back into compliance and minimize penalties.

We reconstruct prior years, file them correctly, and set up a clear path forward. Learn about back-tax cleanup.

  • IRS audit representation
  • Payment plans and installment agreements
  • Penalty abatement and reasonable cause requests

Technology & Security

How our modern, remote process works.

How does working together remotely actually work?

You share documents through secure file sharing, sign electronically with e-signatures, and meet with us by video or phone. Most clients complete their entire engagement without setting foot in an office. Book a consultation.

Is my financial information kept secure?

Yes. We exchange sensitive documents through secure file sharing and e-signatures rather than email attachments, so your information is protected as it moves between us.
