After years working within the traditional CPA firm structure, I realized that the current model (billing clients by the hour, withholding final pricing until after the work is done) just doesn’t work anymore. Not for clients, and not for me.

So, I launched my own firm to do things differently. At Jason Brett CPA, PA, I believe clients deserve clear pricing, modern communication, and professional guidance that’s accessible and respectful of their time. That’s why I’ve adopted an upfront pricing model, one built around value, not vague hourly charges. Once I understand the scope of your needs, you’ll know your price up front. Simple as that.

A Bit About Me

​

I'm a CPA based in Pembroke Pines, Florida, with over five years of public accounting experience including work with partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, entities, and international clients. I started my career right around the time of COVID, and like many others, I had to adapt quickly. I began at a firm doing HOA accounting, then moved into tax and audit with a small firm where I realized just how much I valued client relationships and responsiveness.

 

I became a CPA because I saw the path clearly. My mother, a retired CPA, showed me what consistency and grit could accomplish. She worked full-time while studying for her exams, and I witnessed every step. That example stuck with me.

Over time, I gravitated toward international tax to challenge myself. 

 

Outside of work, I’m a DIY enthusiast, a frequent gym-goer, and a bit of a homebody. I bring that same mindset to my practice: focused, hands-on, always asking why things are done a certain way, and whether there’s a better approach.
